The Office of the Seneschal is the Chief Administrative Office of a given SCA Branch. At the local level the person serving as a group's Seneschal is respondsible for general oversight, paperwork, and making sure all other officers are performing their duties.
Within Lost Forest, the current Seneschal is Her Ladyship Banba MacDermot. She is a 14th century Irish woman who spends her time spinning and doing metalwork when she isn't brewing, for which she received her Grant of Arms. Her other personas include a 16th century Italian Courtesan and a 10th century Rus woman (pictured left).

The Shire of Lost Forest Currently meets on the Central Missouri State University campus in Warrensburg, Missouri. We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays between 6:30pm and 9pm generally in the Lovinger Gym (if it is nice outside, we may be in the field just to the north of the Lovinger Building). Generally, the business portion of the meeting runs between 6:30 - 7:00. After that, members are encouraged to work on projects, socialize, or practice their Martial Combat (Please see the Marshal Page for further details about combat).
The Seneschal's Office has two deputy offices that report directly to it. Neither of which are "Vice-Seneschals" they merely report to the Seneschal organizationally. The Seneschal may have a "drop-dead" deputy that is responsible for times of unavailability or acting at the behest of the Seneschal. The Seneschal generally serves for a two year term before chosing their successor after consultation with the other Officers.
